1959 Fiat 600 Sedan

The rear-engine, rear-wheel-drive Fiat 600 was versatile, roomy, reliable, and functional. Power was from a 633cc 22hoprseower engine mounted behind the rear wheels. They had a four-speed gearbox, a four-wheel independent suspension, and plenty of storage for luggage and other possessions under the hood.

This example is finished in bright red complimented by red-piped gray upholstery and interior trim and black rubber floor mats. It has cream steel wheels with hubcaps, blackwall tires, and front and rear bumper over-riders. There is an aftermarket three-spoke steering wheel, a pair of engine gauges mounted under the dashboard, and an old-style Amco wood shift knob.

In 2010 the car was offered for sale at the Exceptional Motorcars and Automobilia presented by Bonhams. As bidding came to a close, the car had been sold for the sum of $12,285 inclusive of buyer's premium.
