1952 Singer 4AD Sport Roadster

Singer was an automobile company founded in 1905 in Coventry, England. It was acquired by the Rootes Group of the United Kingdom in 1956. By 1928 Singer was Britain's third largest car maker after Austin and Morris. While 1952 was a prolific year of Singer production only 1,546 automobiles were manufactured. The Singer 4A Roadster 1074cc was produced from 1949 to 1952.

English car manufacturers were looking to the United States as a marketplace. 1952 was the first year that a left-hand drive model was produced and featured trafficators (turn signals) that were modified for the United States.

The car was found in a barn in the year 2002. The restoration was largely completed by its owner requiring almost 90 perfect of the ash framing to be replaced.
