1912 Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost Navigation
Chassis number 1888 was delivered January 30th of 1912 to Sir Arthur du Cros, MP of London, with a Regent Carriage Limousine body. It was re-bodied as a two-seater in the 1920s. In 1928 it went to Queensland, Australia.
Millard Newman brought it to the United States in 1982 as a chassis only. The current owners acquired the chassis from Newman. The car received a full ground-up mechanical restoration and an original Roi des Belges body was found to complete the restoration.
In 1987 it went to the United Kingdom and was re-acquired by the current owners in 2013. It recently completed a 4,500 mile Alpine Tour in 2013, including an extended tour through Italy and England, without any problem. In June of 2017, 1888 completed a Round Great Britain tour consisting of England, Scotland & Wales.
