1936 MG PB Roadster

This 1936 MG PB was purchased by the current owner in March of 2011 and has undergone a frame-up restoration. It is finished in the original Cambridge and Oxford blue. One of only 400 two-seater PBs produced, it is a matching numbers car and features a 939cc engine with a 43 bhp and 12-inch brakes. Many original components were restored and reused, including front fenders, chrome radiator shell, engine and transmission. MG PB was the last car model designed by the team at Abingdon-on-Thames as the MG Car Company was sold to Morris Motors in July of 1935. The earlier P-Type engine bore was increased to produce a greater capacity and horsepower with a possible top speed of 75 mph. Other improvements include a slatted radiator grille, Hartford shock absorbers, a wood veneered dashboard with a more reliable layout and better gear box ratios.
