1931 Oldsmobile Model F31 Convertible Roadster

This 1931 Oldsmobile has windows and not curtains. When the top is down the windshield lays down flat and it looks like a speedster. It has dual side-mounted tires which are both covered with side mirrors place on each. All the wheels are wire wheels which was optional equipment at the time of the original purchase. Wooden artillery style wheels were standard. This Roadster has two doors and seating for two or three in the front. There is a hide-away rumble seat which will accommodate two adults or three children. There is a small side door located behind the drivers door which is used as the golf club door. This will accommodate a set of golf clubs.

Under the hood is a six-cylinder engine capable of producing 65 horsepower.

The early 1930's was a difficult time for automobile manufacturers as the Great Depression meant that many individuals were unable to afford a vehicle. The Oldsmobile F-31 was a suitable option for many due to its relatively low sticker price and additional rumble seat which could carry luggage or additional passengers.
