1952 Allard J2X Roadster

This Aallard J2X was completed on February 4th, 1952, and arrived in the United States on April 2nd, 1952 at Perry Fina's import dealership. Finished in Old English White with a red hood, red leather trim red wire wheels, and dual side mounts, a Chrysler Hemi 331 with a 4-speed transmission was installed upon delivery. Little is known about the car's first years but in 1957 the car was purchased by Tiny Gould who installed a Cadillac motor and campaigned the car in a number of hill climbs and racing events during his ownership. In 1966, the car was sold to Kirk F. White and it was lent out to a film company to be used in the film 'The Dealers.' It was then sold to car collector Dr. Terry Bennet of New Hampshire. In the early 1990s, the car was purchased by Terry Healy and Quentin Young who brought the car to Australia for frame-off restoration, and during the process, a period correct Hemi 331 engine was installed. The current owner purchased the car in 2014 and returned the car to its original exterior and interior colors.
