1973 Porsche 911E Coupe

For 1973, the base Porsche was the 134 horsepower 911T, still carbureted in some markets. This was followed by the 157 horsepower 911E which featured a fuel injection system and four-wheel hydraulic disc brakes. This example is a low mileage, original example with just under 49,000 miles. It is painted Signal Yellow with a tan interior.

The car was delivered new in 1973 to Joseph Schneider Johnson-Bozzani Porsche dealership in Phoenix, Arizona. He retained the car until 1984, when it was sold to Stim Kennedy of Denver, Colorado. Kennedy sold it two years later to Tom Reed, also of Denver. A short time later, Reed sold the 911E to Terry Padgeham. Padgeham kept it for two years and then sold it in 1988 to Mark and Rita Carver, in Parker, Colorado, who drove it until 1994. The next owner was Dale Thero of Littleton, Colorado, who kept it until 2003. Marty Dieffenbach was the next owner, who sold it in 2007 to Bill Jacobs.

In 2011, the car was offered for sale at RM Auctions' Arizona sale where it was estimated to sell for $80,000 - $100,000 and offered without reserve. As bidding came to a close, the car had been sold for the sum of $85,250 including buyer's premium.
