1908 Fuller Model A Navigation
Charles Fuller of Angus, Nebraska began his career in the automotive industry in 1902. His talents earned him jobs with several well-known manufacturers of the era before he decided to return to Angus, Nebraska to set up his shop. The town, impressed with Fuller's skills, helped raise $50,000 in order to build a manufacturing facility, where production of Fueller cars began on February 16, 1907.

Fuller designed four models, with prices ranging from $1,000 to $3,500. Each car was given 16-18 coasts of paint and extensive use of leather and brass.

This particular example is a 1908 Fuller Model A with a Touring body. It was the work of Mr. Ray Ringer, who had first seen one of the Fuller automobiles in his Nebraska hometown. He was able to source a frame and an engine in Oregon, with many other parts being sourced throughout the United States. A radiator, windshield, and rear seats were found in Kansas.

The work was completed in 1967. After Mr. Ringer's passing in 1972, ownership of the car passed to his son Dale.

The car is powered by a 245 cubic-inch four-cylinder engine fitted with a Single Zenith carburetor and offering 40 horsepower. There is a 3-speed manual transmission and rear drum brakes.
