Charles Fuller of Angus, Nebraska began his career in the automotive industry in 1902. His talents earned him jobs with several well-known manufacturers of the era before he decided to return to Angus, Nebraska to set up his shop. The town, impressed with Fuller's skills, helped raise $50,000 in order to build a manufacturing facility, where production of Fueller cars began on February 16, 1907.Fuller designed four models, with prices ranging from $1,000 to $3,500. Each car was given 16-18 coasts of paint and extensive use of leather and brass. This particular example is a 1908 Fuller Model A with a Touring body. It was the work of Mr. Ray Ringer, who had first seen one of the Fuller automobiles in his Nebraska hometown. He was able to source a frame and an engine in Oregon, with many other parts being sourced throughout the United States. A radiator, windshield, and rear seats were found in Kansas.
The work was completed in 1967. After Mr. Ringer's passing in 1972, ownership of the car passed to his son Dale.
