The Morgan Plus 4 was introduced in 1950 and initially came powered by the Standard Vanguard engine. It retained the traditional chassis layout however the frame underwent extensive alteration, gaining both wheelbase and track dimensions. It was given a centrally mounted Moss gearbox which was carried over from the 4/4. In 1953, the appearance of the Morgan was updated with the flat-fronted radiator and separate headlamps coming to an end. In its place was a rounded radiator cowl that Morgan retains today.
This particular Morgan wears an older restoration finished in grey bodywork with red fenders and an interior trimmed in black leather. Power is from a Triumph TR3 motor that is fitted with twin SU carburetors and a cold-air intake manifold.
