1935 Hudson Special Eight Series HT Navigation
This Special Eight Series 54 HT Touring Brougham was sold new in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, for $1,168 and was designed to be chauffeur driven. It has the Electric Hand, twin side-mounted spares and wire wheels, twin horns, and amber fog lamps. In 1975, it was sold as an original low-mileage example from M. Wayne Hostetler of New Cumberland, Pennsylvania, to Gus Souza of Chicago, Illinois, who later sold the car to Hudson dealer Jack Miller in the spring of 1994. Later that December, it was sold by Mr. Miller to the Hostetler Collection. In 2015, it was awarded the Historic Preservation – Original Features award by the AACA.By Daniel Vaughan | Jan 2019
