1950 Buick Series 40 Special Sedan

This car was purchased new in October of 1949 by James Ledford. It was garage kept until 1979 when the current owner purchased the vehicle with 21,000 miles. It was completely covered with blankets and sheets. Originally bought from Horne Buick in Forest City, N.C. in October of 1949, the car has never left the country until it began traveling to car shows. The car has a little over 25,000 miles and is completely original. It has never been painted or had any interior work. The car has been hand rubbed to bring back the shine of the final year of the Jetback Buick. This black model 40 fastback has a grey wool interior and still has original pinstripe rims, original hubcaps and rings.

The current owner left his wedding in this car, and drove friends in their weddings and other special occasions.
