1950 Cadillac Series 60 Special Fleetwood Sedan

In 1950, Cadillac introduced all-new styling on every car in the lineup. At the top of the line is the Sixty Special, featuring an interior like no other Cadillac. The exterior styling is nearly identical to the less-expensive Series 62 models, but it rides on a four-inch longer wheelbase.

1950 was a great year for Cadillac with over 100,000 units sold. 13,755 of them were Sixty Specials - a new record for that model.

This particular automobile was acquired by the current owner about six years ago. The car was sold new in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and it still retains the original title under the hood showing the delivery date of 9-11-1950. Of historical note is that the actual 100,000th Cadillac that rolled off the assembly line was a 1950 Sixty Special.
