1947 Chrysler Crown Imperial Navigation
Between 1946 and 1948, Chrysler introduced the Imperial Crown, as a top-level trim package designation. This body style is the eight-passenger four-door limousine. Hydraulic telescopic shock absorbers were in the front and rear. Two-speed electric windshield wipers were standard. Interestingly the 'Imperial' name was introduced on top-level Cadillac-built limousines, starting in 1941. very few of these cars were built and they were normally built to special order. According to the current owner, this car is believed to have been built for and used at The Greenbrier.
