1962 Ford Thunderbird Sport Roadster Convertible

This car was originally purchased by a doctor in Grand Rapids, Michigan. It was traded to Pfeiffer Lincoln Mercury in the late 1960s with only 7,500 miles on it. When it was traded, it still had the clear plastic covers on the seats that it had when it left the factory and the duct tape on the door sills. The factory build sheet is still attached to the convertible top frame. Pfeiffer kept it in a storage facility until 1989, at which time they sold it to the current owner at an auction. It has been kept in a temperature-controlled storage facility ever since and only driven on an occasional basis. When the owner acquired it, the fuel tank was rusted, so it was replaced with a NOS fuel tank. There was a small scratch on the left quarter panel which was repaired. Otherwise, it is completely original and unrestored. It is one of only 440 Sports Roadsters produced in 1962 and has 9,000 miles.
