1954 Aston Martin DB2/4 Navigation
This factory left-hand-drive 1954 Aston Martin DB2/4 is one of 565 Mark I models produced. It was produced on October 28, 1953, and wore a Sea Green exterior over Beige Connolly hides and optioned with heavy-duty shock absorbers and a kph speedometer. Sent to Belgium in February 1954, its sale was handled by the Ets. R. Mannes agency, with its first owner being Andre Pelgrims of Brussels. Eventually, the DB2/4 made its way to the United States and, by the early 1980s, was in the care of Lance Sterman of Stockbridge, Massachusetts. Mr. Sterman would retain the car for nearly four decades. Mr. Sterman commissioned a comprehensive mechanical overhaul, and the task was given to Steel Wings of Ivyland, Pennsylvania. The work began in 2012 and was completed in 2017, with receipts amounting to over $65,000.
