1995 Ferrari F355 Cabriolet

The Ferrari F355 Spider was introduced in 1995, the year after the Berlinetta version made its debut at the Geneva Motor Show (1994). The F355 Spider holds the distinction of being the first Ferrari with a power-operated soft top that lowered at the press of a button. It was also the first Ferrari with the F1-inspired paddle-shifted automated transmission. A six-speed manual gearbox with a gated shifter remained available to buyers.

The Formula One-derived 3.5-liter V-8, rated at 375 horsepower, had a newly designed cylinder head featuring five valves per cylinder and Bosch Motronic fuel injection. There was a semi-monocoque steel chassis, variable-section, tubular front and rear sub-frames, electronically adjustable dampers, power-assisted steering, and staggered 18-inch wheels wrapped in Pirelli rubber.

This Ferrari F355 Spider was delivered new to a buyer in Florida. It left the factory wearing a black exterior with a black convertible top and a biscuit interior. When the second owner (from Georgia) purchased the car in 2015, it had fewer than 700 miles from new. In 2016, the fuel system was overhauled, and a five-year belt replacement service was completed in November 2021. The third owner purchased the car in 2022 and had it returned to Florida. Currently, the car has 988 miles on its odometer.

Ferrari built approximately 3,717 F355 Spiders, and 2,664 of those were fitted with manual transmission worldwide.
