1936 Lincoln Zephyr Sedan

    1936 Lincoln Zephyr Navigation
The Lincoln-Zephyr was conceived by Edsel Ford to slot between the Ford Deluxe and the Lincoln Model K. It was designed by Eugene T. Gregorie of Ford with input from John Tjaarda of the Briggs Body Corporation and shared its name with the streamlined 1934 Burlington Zephyr diesel express train. It features a 267 cubic-inch L-head V12 engine with a Stromberg carburetor and was factory-rated at 110 horsepower at 3,900 RPM. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a three-speed manual transmission. The Zephyr rode on a 122-inch wheelbase and featured front and rear transverse leaf springs. Stopping power is provided by drum brakes at all four corners.
