1959 Mercury Monterey Convertible

This 1959 Mercury Monterey is in unrestored condition and has a history that is completely known, dating back to July 1, 1959. It was purchased by Donna H. Budd from Port Motors in Manhasset, Long Island, New York. This Madeira Yellow Monterey was sold for $3,908.45. Ms. Budd kept a log of every mile driven and where she went. The log included every fill-up, including the number of gallons and date. She drove it sparingly until 1977, when the records abruptly stopped. It was sold to a private collector who stored it for the next three decades. The car was purchased by the current owner in 2007. It had 26,000 miles and included all the original paperwork including the sales documents, finance contract, window sticker, and log book with all receipts.

Factory records indicate that 4,426 Monterey Convertibles were built in 1959.
