1937 Chrysler C-16 Royal Navigation
This car is a true 'survivor.' It remains in unrestored, original condition 72 years after leaving the Chrysler factory. It had been stored in a Michigan barn by its original owners before being discovered in 1987 with 19,000 miles showing.
The only items replaced on the car are the tires and window glass. The exterior paint and interior upholstery are original. There are back window shades and an original wood-grained dash.
The C-16, designated the 'Royal' for 1937, was Chrysler's entry-level car. Built on a 116-inch wheelbase, it was powered by a six-cylinder, 93-horsepower motor. The price new was $920.
