Into its second year, Lincoln Navigator enters 1999 with more power (300HP as opposed to last years 230HP), adjustable pedals, speed-sensitive stereo volume, and a hands-free cellular phone. Also, the optional third row seat is mounted on rollers this year for easy installation and removal. Key Pad entry is also added for 1999. Both brake and accelerator can be moved via a switch on the Navigator instrument panel as much as 3 inches up or down. The system can accommodate 95 percent of the U.S. population. It is part of the Class III Trailer Towing Group: Navigator was made for pulling heavy loads in majestic style. The towing package prepares you right from the start, with a full-function 7-pin trailer wiring harness, Class III frame hitch, heavy-duty flasher, and auxiliary auto transmission oil cooler.
