1994 Chevrolet Camaro

After a one-year absence, Chevrolet re-introduced a convertible bodystyle to the Camaro lineup. Standard features now included a new keyless entry system, compact disc system with new coaxial speakers, and 'flood light' interior illumination. Powering the base model was a 3.4-liter V6 engine rated at 160 horsepower. The Z28 models had a Corvette 5.7-liter V8 with a sequential fuel injection system and rated at 275 horsepower. Coupes had a five-speed manual transmission as standard, while the convertibles had the 4L60-E electronic four-speed automatic as its standard transmission. The Z28s had a Borg-Warner T56 six-speed manual or an optional four-speed automatic. The T56 six-speed gearbox was given a Computer-Aided Gear Selection which aided in fuel economy.

The base Camaro coupe sold for $13,400, while the convertible option was listed at $18,750. The Z24 sold for $16,800 and $22,000 for the coupe and convertible, respectively.

For 1994, there were 112,539 Camaro coupes produced and 7,260 were convertibles.
