2006 Dodge SRT10 Navigation
If it's worth doing, sometimes it's worth overdoing. And Dodge proves it with the 2006 Ram SRT10, twisting bold Ram power with cutting-edge Viper design and technology. The SRT10 is the ultimate performance pickup—inside and out.
The instrument panel points to a totally performance-based personality. White-faced racing-style gauges bring the tachometer front and center—so you can get a good look when you top 150 mph or reach 60 mph in approximately 5 seconds.
Ram SRT10's cockpit features all the controls and race-inspired features you would expect, and then some. The push-button starter fires up the 8.3-liter V10 Viper engine. You're in control from there.
Equipping the fastest full-size pickup ever with a less-than-kicking system would be sacrilegious. That's why SRT10 features a 508-watt ear-melting sound system, complete with eight Infinity™ speakers, 508-watt amplifier, and subwoofer. And you can change up the tunes while keeping your eyes on the road with steering wheel—mounted audio controls.
Power-adjustable aluminum racing-style pedals keep your driving position as comfortable as possible and ensure that the clutch, brake, and throttle are within easy reach while you take charge of the streets.
No other truck comes close to this ultimate performance. No one else sports a class-obliterating 500 horsepower and 525 lb-ft of torque. And no 'toy' truck can even think about topping 150 mph or reaching 60 mph in just over 5 seconds.
The Ram SRT10's massive power is delivered courtesy of the highest-displacement engine in a factory pickup truck—the same 8.3-liter V10 that powers the Dodge Viper. The V10's horsepower rating easily surpasses all other pickups—as well as virtually every production sports car in the world.
Ram SRT10 delivers some serious stopping power for a longer period of time thanks to performance antilock four-wheel disc brakes. New for 2006, Dodge Ram SRT10 Quad Cab® features unique opposed-piston red brake calipers and 15-inch rotors up front, with modified heavy-duty red calipers and 14-inch rotors in the rear.
Standard 22-inch aluminum wheels round out the features of this awesome Ram. And P305/40R22 BSW performance tires help transfer all that power to the pavement.Source - Dodge
