1998 Peugeot Tulip Concept Navigation
The Peugeot Tulip is a concept created to test the feasibility and popularity of a small, utilitarian vehicle. It is intended for city driving where its small profile would be able to negotiate the streets and easily slip into a parking spot. It small frame means superior fuel mileage, with dimensions similar to a motorcycle, but with the convenience of an enclosed body.

Free, Individual and Public Úrban Transport, or TÚLIP, came from a desire to better reconcile the city, the car and the environment. Launched as a concept in 1996, the TÚLIP was organised around a network of vehicles for hire for the city and for public use. It also featured a central station for management, booking, mobile maintenance and billing. It was the forefather of today's car sharing movement that can be found in most European city centres.Source - Peugeot
