In the 1934 Mille Miglia, this Scuderia Ferrari Alfa Romeo finished first in the 1500cc class, driven by Giacomo Comotti and Anna Maria Peduzzi also known as 'la Marocchina.' Perduzzi raced this car extensively in 1933 and 1934. In 1936, this car raced again in the Mille Miglia, driven by Baron Toulo de Graffenreid. For the next 20 years, the car was passed between several prominent Italian race drivers. In 1953, the car exported to the United States by Luigi Chinetti, and sold to Danny Collins. Collins raced the car in the SCCA Estes park, CO race. The car was subsequently owned by Richard Merritt and Henry Wessels, and raced in the VSCCA for the past 20 years. The car is a supercharged Grand Sport model with one-off coachwork by Brianza. The engine is one of six special testa fissa (fixed head) engines produced by Alfa for racing.

The very last 5th series 6C Alfa Romeo ever built. It is fitted with one of only twelve 'Testa Fissa' engines ever made, which combined the block and cylinder head in one unit. The two-seat spider coachwork was probably built by Zagato, although a placard on the Brianza stand at the 1934 Milan Motor Show claimed the body as theirs. It won the 1500cc Class at the 1934 Mille Miglia as part of the Scuderia Ferrari team with 'Marochinna' and Comotti behind the wheel.
