Kettering, 1 July – Agricultural manufacturer Apollo Vredestein (UK)'s stand at Cereals 2016 became a hub of activity with visits from farmers, trade, public and Apollo Vredestein representatives from all over the world during the UK's largest arable farming event of the year.

The Dutch agricultural manufacturer's UK operation turned the two-day event into an opportunity to show colleagues from across the globe 'how products are presented to the UK market' and why Apollo Vredestein UK is so successful in the agricultural sector.

Apollo Vredestein UK's agricultural business has grown impressively over the last four years, and is an example to emulate both internally and among competitors.

A selection of both the newest tele-handler and flotation trailer ranges, as well as samples of the main traction tractor tyre ranges were on show on the stand; with a nod to vintage nostalgia, Apollo Vredestein UK also displayed a 1963 David Brown Implematic fitted with Faktor S cross-ply tyres from their newly extended range.

Pride of place was given to a Traxion XXL 800/70/38 the biggest assembly in the display, the impressive unit weighing in at 550kg.

Business was brisk, with data capture and the Apollo Vredestein technical team answering questions from end-users, distributers and farmers throughout the show.

Apollo Vredestein OHT Specialist Ed Lonergan, who has overseen the marque's presence at the show for the last four years, says: 'Cereals 2016 gave Apollo Vredestein the opportunity to showcase our products, but also spend time with machinery dealers, manufacturers and end-users; here at Apollo Vredestein we place a lot of value on listening to those opinions as a route to market strategy.'

Apollo Vredestein UK plans to tweak its show format presence slightly for next year, to keep ahead of times. The next big appointment is at Lamma, Peterborough, in January 2017.
