BORLA® INTRODUCES LONG TUBE HEADER FOR 2015-16 DODGE CHALLENGER HELLCATPurpose-built to deliver maximum horsepower and torque, the Long Tube Headers are intended for serious track enthusiasts

BORLA® Performance Industries has announced new Long Tube Headers designed and engineered exclusively for the 2015-16 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat 6.2L and SRT 392 6.4L models. The company has leveraged its extensive history and unrivalled knowledge of classic American muscle cars to develop the high-performance Long Tube Headers for racing and/or off-road track enthusiasts.

The new Long Tube Headers improve the high-powered Hemi engine's ability to breathe, increasing exhaust gas flow and reducing resistance. The increased flow results in optimized performance throughout the power range, not just at wide-open throttle.

PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS

• Engineered specifically for the 2015-16 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat 6.2L and Challenger SRT 392 6.4L models

• Long Tube Headers use 1.75' diameter primary tubes and 2.75' diameter collector

• Compatible with BORLA ATAK® and S-Type muffler technology, enabling customers to choose exhaust note and volume level

• Manufactured from T-304 stainless steel for durability

bHigh-quality engineering allows BORLA Million Mile Warranty

Legal only for racing vehicles, which may never be used, registered, or licensed for highway use

In January 2016, BORLA announced Cat-Back™ Exhaust Systems for the 2015-16 Dodge Challenger Hellcat SRT. These systems provide Hellcat owners with a variety of sound options thanks to the option of the patented and race-bred ATAK® muffler technology. It delivers the highest decibel level available in the street-legal BORLA lineup while remaining at an acceptable level for low-speed residential driving.

Alternatively, Hellcat owners can choose the BORLA S-Type mufflers option, which also deliver enhanced performance with a throaty, aggressive sound under acceleration, but at a reduced volume level when compared to the ATAK mufflers. Both sound options are designed and engineered specifically for the Challenger Hellcat SRT to deliver enhanced performance without annoying drone.

As an additional option for Hellcat owners, customers can specify the ATAK or S-Type mufflers with either Active Exhaust Valves or Valve Simulators. The Active Exhaust Valves are a BORLA valve included in the choice of muffler. These act in the same way as the Dodge Dual Mode exhaust valves, allowing the driver to select from two different exhaust sound levels. The BORLA Valve Simulators are again supplied with the chosen muffler but are non-operational for racing or off-road use. However, they will ensure that a Check Engine Light is not activated when the exhaust is fitted.

When the BORLA mufflers and valve technology is combined with the new Hellcat headers, Dodge owners have the ability to create a very exciting soundtrack and power output when used for racing or other off-road activities.
