The Chrysler Design Study is based on a Lancia Delta and was an engineering demonstration put on display at the 2010 Detroit Auto Show (NAIAS). The vehicle is a Lancia Delta with Chrysler badging and subtle updating. While it is not entirely clear at the moment the purpose of the design study, it could be to study the interest in the American public to the Lancia-Chrysler Concept. It is a demonstration of who the CEO of both Fiat and Chrysler plans to slowly merge the two brands into one.
