In 2001, the K8 prototype debuted at the Geneva International Auto Show. This was the second prototype introduced by the Spanish engineering company, Mazel. Mazel had purchased the prestigious Hispano-Suiza label in an attempt to display to the automotive industry its capabilities at automotive production. The HS21 supercar had been introduced a year earlier. In 2002, the HS21-GTS was introduced. The K8 was designed as a luxury car. The interior is exquisite with seating for four.
