2003 Lexus LF-S Concept

Lexus Future Sedan (LF-S)

is a next-generation premium sedan that expresses the Lexus brand's new conception of luxury.

The LF-S has a V8 gasoline engine and high-output motor hybrid system with all-wheel drive. It is 193.3 inches in length, 74.6 inches in width, 53.0 inches high, and seats five.

This concept vehicle is the realization of a quest to define the essence of luxury in every detail. It seeks to provide a peak experience that fills the driver with exhilaration and provides comfort in every moment, while understanding and anticipating each individual user's constantly changing needs.

In designing the LF-S, Lexus used long integrated lines to simplify the form and shape of the vehicle, and simplicity can be very intriguing. The wraparound design, from the side of the vehicle all the way to the rear, virtually eliminates the rear corners of the vehicle.

Many try to predict what the future will hold. At Lexus, we've already taken one step toward the future of luxury vehicles. Our LF-S concept car embodies the next evolutionary step in our design philosophy: L-Finesse. The goal of L-Finesse is to build a luxury sedan that's designed around you.

The sleek lines skillfully combine dynamism and elegance, while surrounding a comfortable, driver-friendly interior. Innovations include a transparent roof that incorporates security illumination. This groundbreaking luxury sedan also features a V8 gasoline engine and high-output electric motors for a hybrid 4WD. The LF-S is where luxury is going. And that's a future we can all get excited about.
