2005 Daihatsu Cuore

An Engine That's Economical, Clean and High in Performance
The Cuore ranks among the world's top petrol cars in fuel economy, thanks to its extremely efficient 1000-cc 3-cylinder 12-valve DOHC engine with DVVT. It has also reduced CO and HC emissions when warming up from a cold start. The newly adopted long port intake manifold helps deliver ample torque in the most critical rpm range, giving you the quick, nimble response needed in urban driving. The engine is also extremely quiet.

A Quiet, Comfortable, Vibration-Free Ride
Daihatsu's newly developed L-arm front suspension and rear suspension with toe-correction bushings help ensure extra comfort. A sport suspension with front stabiliser is optionally available. The new engine mount system and careful arrangement of sound-insulating materials combine with a host of vibration-damping measures in the body to minimise noise and vibration. You enjoy a quieter, smoother ride.

Aerodynamic Form for Minimal Air Drag
The Cuore's smoothly flowing, aerodynamic styling achieves an excellent CD value of 0.31. This contributes to the Cuore's superb fuel economy while also reducing wind-shear noise.

Easy Manoeuvrability with 4.2-m Minimum Turning Radius
The compact Cuore is big on manoeuvrability. With a minimum turning radius of 4.2 m, the Cuore makes it easy to navigate narrow roads, turn tight corners, and manoeuvre into small parking spaces.
