COYS FIRE UP THE ENGINES FOR MONACO WITH 100-CAR AUCTION

Over 100 historic, sports and grand prix automobiles will be going under the hammer at COYS 'Legend et Passion' auction in Monaco on Saturday 14th May.
The international auctioneers are hosting their biennial sale over the weekend of the Grand Prix de Monaco Historique and will celebrate the race's 10th edition with an unmissable selection of racing legends, including a 1968 Cooper BRM T86B works car, driven by Lucien Bianchi and Brian Redman.
COYS have been running 'Legend et Passion' since the very first historic grand prix, making it the oldest auction in the principality under one brand.
Chris Routledge, CEO of international auctioneers COYS, said: 'It is an auction where legends and passion meet, where worldwide collectors and classic motorsport fanatics can find a way to get behind the wheel of iconic racing automobiles such as Lucien Bianchi's Cooper BRM T86B.'
He added: 'This car finished 3rd in Monaco 1968, it is a genuine masterpiece of motorsport history with excellent provenance and an extremely reliable 12 cylinder engine.'
The variety of racing cars available include a 1985/86 Arrows A8 Formula 1 – Ex-Thierry Boutsen (estimated at €150,000 to €180,000), a 1986 Lancia Delta S4 Group B (€350,000 to €400,000), a 1974 MP 3 2000 (€45,000 to €55,000) and a 1973 March F3 763 (€50,000 to €60,000).
Other important classic and sports car going under the hammer include a 1967 Alfa Tipo 33 Stradale Continuation (Refer Department), a 2005 Ferrari Superamerica (€310,000 to €360,000), a 1960 Maserati 3500GT Vignale Spyder coachwork by Carrozzeria Vignale (€750,000 to €850,000), a 2001 Lamborghini Diablo GT (€620,000 to €680,000), a 1955 Alfa Romeo Giulietta (€70,000 to €90,000) and a 1955 Lancia Aurelia B20 IV Series (€125,000 to €150,000).
The sale will also feature a true Monaco-lifestyle symbol and one of the most iconic boats ever built, a 1957 Riva Tritone (€300,000 to €350,000).
