1993 Mazda London Taxi Concept

Mazda worked in collaboration with the London Royal College of Art in 1993 to sponsor a design project to create a futuristic taxi concept where space would restrict vehicle size. Although it was not an official Mazda concept and not displayed at an automobile show, Mazda assisted by building the prototype. The design was a narrow-track pod-shaped mini-car that was certainly futuristic. There was space for a driver and one passenger.
