Pat O'Reilly, John Gavan, and Mike DeMulling bought the car in 1968 and entered the 1969 Indy 500 race as the 'Minnesota Serendipity' #51 driven by Dee Jones. After body changes, turbocharging and many U.S.A.C. races as well as in 150 races in Rafaela, Argentina, #51 was retired at the end of the 1972 season.
