1975 MG Midget Mk IV Navigation
The 1975 MG Midget 1500 Mark IV was given a new soft black polyurethane bumper up front, and replaced the former chromed grille. The roadster was priced at $3,550 and was powered by an overhead-valve four-cylinder engine that displaced 91 cubic-inches and offered 56 horsepower. The engine had a single carburetor, rather than the traditional twin SU carburetors. The engine was mated to a four-speed fully synchronized gearbox with overdrive being offered as optional equipment. The European (more powerful) versions had a top speed was in the neighborhood of 100 mph with a zero-to-sixty time of 12.5 seconds. The front of the 1975 MG came to a point, with no grille and just a low opening with a small 'MG' octagon emblem. In the rear there was a black bumper, also conforming to US safety regulations.
