The 1975 Datsun 280Z coupe sold for $6,280 for the 2-passenger version while the 2+2 sold for $7080. Power was from an overhead-cam six-cylinder (Model L28) engine displacing 168 cubic-inches and offering 150 horsepower. 1975 was the first year of the 280Z with fuel injection. The engine was mated to a four-speed manual gearbox, had rack-and-pinion steering, and disc brakes in the front.
