Jeep Beach Sports Arena Returns To Seaside Festival For The Third TimeJeep is to sponsor the Beach Sports Arena for the third year running as part of 'Paddle Round The Pier' – the world's largest charity beach festival.

The 'Jeep Beach Sports Arena' will once again host competitions such as Beach Volleyball, Footvolley, Beach Tennis and the surf lifesaving sport of Beach Flags over the Paddle Festival's weekend of 1-2 July, in the seaside resort of Brighton, East Sussex.

'Paddle Round The Pier' is an award-winning weekend of water sports and beach lifestyle activities in the popular 'Paddle Village' in Brighton's Hove Lawns. The event is run by volunteers, with all profits donated to charity.

The Jeep-supported Beach Sports Arena will be in use from Monday, 5 June, for a month run-up to the 'Paddle Round The Pier' event. The special programme allows school children from across the south east to learn the fundamentals of being a beach lifeguard and being safe on the beach. The sport of Beach Flags, played on the sand, is about fitness, agility and speed – vital assets to being a good beach lifeguard.

The Arena, in a prime spot on the city seafront, will show a selection of the 4x4 company's award-winning vehicles.

'Having Jeep on board to support the Schools Surf Life Saving Programme is terrific as the brand represents adventure, and that's what we want to encourage – adventure in kids,' says David Samuel, Paddle Director.

'Using the Jeep Beach Sports Arena as a base allows us to educate kids on how to access the sea in a safe way and equips them to save a life through CPR. Life is full of adventures and like Jeep, we want to give people the very best equipment for their future quests.'

'We are delighted to support this event, which is perfectly aligned to Jeep,' says Andrew Tracey, Country Brand Manager, Jeep UK. 'Helping young people to have fun and discover their limits, but in safety, is what Jeep stands for. I am sure everyone taking part at 'Paddle Round The Pier' will have an excellent experience.'
