The 2001 Audi S4 came with a six-speed manual gearbox (only). Power came from a dual-overhead cam six-cylinder engine fitted with twin intercooled turbochargers and offering 250 horsepower. Zero-to-sixty took just 5.9 seconds and had a top speed of 143 mph. Body styles included a 4-door sedan which sold for $38,900 and an Avant station wagon which had a $40,500 price tag.
