1940 Dreyer Sprint Car Navigation

'Pops' Dreyer was a race car builder after World War I until the late 1950s. He built many Indy cars, sprint cars, and midgets. The car was lost until Dick Green ended up with it many years ago. The frame is a stock, Dreyer. The engine is a 1932 Ford four-cylinder with 'Pops' Dreyer double overhead cams, an aluminum side cover, and an oil pan. The intake manifold and many other parts were made of aluminum by 'Pops.' The transmission is a Model A and the front and rear suspensions are both early Ford. Dick Green used the all-aluminum body kit and made numerous modifications to fit this chassis. The car was restored by Mike Stow and pals in Stuart, Florida during the early 2010s.
