The Hong Guang S has updated exterior styling. Its redesigned front end incorporates a Chevrolet-style chrome-plated bar, rhombus-shaped mesh grille, ladder-like lower air inlet grille and 'big mouth' fender that give it a dynamic feel. 'Eagle eye' headlights and feather-like fog lights add to the strong visual impact.

Eight exterior colors are available: Desert Gold, Sandy Gold, Coral Red, Ocean Blue, Storm Gray, Earth Brown, Twinkling Silver and Candy White.

Refined, Spacious Interior

The Hong Guang S has a wraparound interior design in beige and light gray. This accentuates the MPV's positioning as a family car. Piano lacquer and chrome accents add a sense of refinement. The instrument panel incorporates a multifunctional 7-inch HD touch screen along with a retro-style crystal clock.

In addition, the Hong Guang S comes with a three-spoke steering wheel, six-way adjustable seats, central locking, power windows and an advanced electric power steering system. Engineers addressed noise, vibration and harshness to provide an exceptionally quiet interior.

The MPV has a 2,720-mm wheelbase along with a length of 4,400 mm, width of 1,680 mm and height of 1,770 mm. This gives it a roomy interior with ample third-row headroom and legroom. It also has 330 liters of space for luggage and cargo. Adding to the convenience are 22 storage compartments.

Fuel-Efficient EnginesThe Hong Guang S comes with a choice of GM's latest 1.2L or 1.5L P-TEC engines, which deliver optimal fuel efficiency and high torque at low engine speeds.

The 1.5L engine produces maximum power of 82 kW and maximum torque of 146.5 Nm at 3,600-4,200 rpm. It consumes an average of 7.5 liters of fuel per 100 km.

Smooth Handling and Advanced Safety

Among the safety features in the Hong Guang S are anti-lock brakes with electronic brake-force distribution, dual air bags and ISOFIX anchor points for child safety seats. Over 80 percent of the vehicle's body is made of ultra-high-strength steel. Laser-welding technology is used on the inside panels of the front and rear doors for added protection in the event of a collision.
