For 1975, the AMC Matador was divided into two series yet both were called the Matador. The Coupe was a Series 10 Matador while the Sedan and Wagon were called the Series 80 Matador. The coupes rested on a 114 inch platform while the Series 80 had a 118 inch wheelbase. Front disc brakes and radial tires were standard equipment on the coupe. The standard engine was the 258 CID six, with three V8s options.This particular example, currently on display at the Dezer Collection, was featured in the 1974 James Bond film, The Man With the Golden Gun.
