1986 Sterling Asutin Limousine

This London Sterling Limousine is one of just 100 examples built by the Checker Motors USA company, and is limousine number 68. Power is from a 2.3-liter, 4-cylinder Ford engine mated to an automatic transmission. Currently, the odometer shows just 10,000 miles which is believed to be original.

This Limousine was owned by Merv Griffin until 2003, creator of the game shows Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune, and the star of the Merv Griffin Show. It was featured in the livery of the Beverly Hilton Hotel, which Griffin owned from 1987 to 2003.
