American Honda Is Most Represented Automaker In Cars.Com 2018 American-Made Index
•Honda Odyssey, Ridgeline, Pilot and Acura MDX comprise four of 10 vehicles in the Index
•Almost two-thirds of the Honda and Acura vehicles sold in the U.S. in 2017 were made in America
Reflecting its longstanding commitment to develop and build vehicles in the markets where they are sold, American Honda took four of the top ten spots in Cars.com 2018 American-Made Index. Topping any other automaker, American Honda vehicles included the 2018 Honda Odyssey minivan, 2018 Honda Ridgeline mid-size pickup truck, 2018 Honda Pilot SUV and 2018 Acura MDX luxury SUV.
Cars.com assesses several factors for the American-Made Index: assembly location; domestic-parts content; U.S. factory employment adjusted by sales; engine and transmission origin; and for ties, heavier curb weight is considered.
