2019 Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class

The striking four-door coupe continues to impress with new special editions for the 2018 model year. Joined in Mercedes-Benz's compact car lineup by the GLA, the CLA presents customers with powerful performance and outstanding value, available in either front wheel drive or, optionally, with 4MATIC all-wheel drive. At the pinnacle of the CLA lineup is the Mercedes-AMG CLA45, which features a handcrafted AMG 2.0L turbocharged inline-4 engine with 375 hp and 350 lb-ft of torque. The CLA45 continues to set the standard in its segment with a zero to 60 time of just 4.1 seconds.

In 2017, Mercedes-Benz designers subtly honed the distinctive look of the CLA with new headlights, bumpers, trim and tailpipes. Inside, the CLA received an improved COMAND infotainment screen, new interior finishes, a standard rearview camera and more.

For the 2018 model year, the CLA receives two new special-edition packages. Available exclusively on the CLA250, the Ice Edition is limited to just 400 units. The Ice Edition includes, among other features, Cirrus White or Polar White paint with Matte White foil stripes, AMG Line Exterior body panels, Night Package, LED High- Performance headlamps, Premium Package, a Panorama Roof and 18' AMG wheels with black accents.

Available exclusively on the AMG CLA45 is the AMG Performance Studio Package. Customers have the choice of either Night Black or Cosmos Black for the exterior paint color which will be contrasted with AMG stripes in Matte Graphite Grey across the hood, roof and trunk lid as well as above the side sills. Additionally featuring Yellow accents on the front bumper, exterior mirrors, diffuser, and side sill inserts, 19' AMG Cross-Spoke Wheels in Black with a Yellow flange and AMG Performance Seats, this eye-catching package is sure to make the AMG CLA45 stand even further out from the crowd.

Additional highlights across the CLA family include HANDS-FREE ACCESS feature and the Smartphone Integration package. Loading becomes easier with the HANDS-FREE ACCESS option, which allows the trunk lid or liftgate to be opened without any physical contact—all it takes is a motion of the foot in the area of the rear bumper. HANDS- FREE ACCESS is now included as part of the Convenience Package.

The optionally-available Smartphone Integration Package allows the integration and voice-operated control of iPhones® and Android smartphones via Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto respectively. Selected functions can be operated using vehicle controls, thus allowing safe use even while on the move.
