• Ferrari Challenge UK series confirmed with 4 races for 2019

• Ferrari announces new Club Competizioni GT track events for owners of Competizioni GT cars from 1989-2018

London, 08 January 2019 – Ferrari Attività Sportive GT is delighted to confirm two new exciting Race Car activities for 2019 at the Autosport International show at the NEC in Birmingham this weekend.

Ferrari Challenge UK 2019

The first announcement confirms the new Ferrari Challenge UK series for 2019, with the Ferrari 488 Challenge to race on four UK circuits. This is the first time in the company's history that it has created a one-make racing series dedicated for a single market apart from Italy which had a Ferrari Challenge Series until 2011.

The Ferrari Challenge UK series will be run to the same rules and regulations as the other Ferrari Challenge series around the world, in North America, the EU and APAC. However, the UK series only requires a MSA 'A' National licence, which makes it much easier and more accessible for UK clients who want to race with Ferrari but who might not (yet) have the International C Licence required for the other Ferrari Challenge series.

25 April Brands Hatch – Prologue and Test.

18-19 May Brands Hatch. Race 1 & Race 2.

22-23 June Snetterton. Race 3 & Race 4.

Ferrari Challenge UK series open to any UK clients who own a Ferrari 488 Challenge race car. Clients should contact their local dealer for further details on how to enter.

Club Competizioni GT

The second announcement confirms the creation of a truly unique and innovative programme of track driving events for clients who own a Ferrari GT racing car made between 1989-2018. Club Competizioni GT, directly supervised by the Ferrari Competizioni GT department, is not a racing series, but it creates an exciting opportunity for clients of Ferrari's iconic competition cars to drive them on world-class racing circuits, with the full support of the Ferrari factory.

Clients will also receive the support and professional tuition from Ferrari's official drivers, many of whom have first hand experience of racing these cars at Le Mans, Daytona and other Endurance or GT racing series around the world.
