1906 Queen Model E

The Queen automobiles were built in Detroit, Michigan, and produced automobiles from 1904 through 1906. They were the product of the C.H. Blomstrom Motor Company and during the production lifespan, produced around 1,500 vehicles. The 1904 models were simple runabouts powered by 1- and 2-cylinder engines priced from $650 to nearly $1,000. A four-cylinder model joined the lineup a year later, powering the 96 inches Side Entrance Tonneau Model D. The 2-cylinder engine powered by Model B resting on a 73-inch wheelbase, the Model C with its 80-inch platform, and the Model E which had an 84-inch wheelbase. The Model B produced 12 horsepower while the other two had 16 horsepower.

The 1906 Queen models included the Model F and Model E, both powered by a 2-cylinder engine. The Model K had a 100-inch wheelbase and a four-cylinder engine.

During the summer of 1906, the Queen Company was in trouble with the authorities, which was resolved by October of that year. The company was merged with Car De Luxe, and the C.H. Blomstrom Motor Company name was dissolved. Blomstrom received cash and Car De Luxe stock. Soon, Blomstrom organized the Blomstrom Manufacturing Company of Detroit which produced a car called the Blomstrom in 1907.
