1997 Nissan Homy

The Homy was built and sold by the Prince Motor Company before the merger with Nissan in 1965. From 1965 through 1976, it was sold as a standalone model, and between 1976 and 1997, it was a rebadged version of the Caravan. The Caravan was a light commercial van primarily intended for fleet use. Throughout its existence, the Homy was powered by a variety of four-cylinder engines with displacement sizes ranging from 1.6 to 3.1 liters, occasionally benefitting from the use of a turbocharger. The fourth generation of styling arrived in 1986 with wheelbase sizes ranging from 93.5 to 104.1 inches, a width of 66.5 inches, and a length stretching to 200.8 inches.

The mid-size Homy van was spacious, comfortable, and reliable, intended for family use. Available in various grades and configuration, amenities included power windows, power steering, and air conditioning.
