VOLVO ANNOUNCES MARCH SALES
April 1, 2015 by VolvoROCKLEIGH, N.J. (April 1, 2015) - Volvo Cars of North America, LLC, (VCNA) reported U.S. sales of 5,916 units, holding steady compared to March 2014. Year-to-date sales are up 0.2 percent over the first quarter of 2014. March 2014 was the best month on record for the XC60, selling 2,464 units beating the previous record sales month (June 2013). The XC70 also saw a sales surge of 47.4 percent versus March 2014. March was the biggest month for the new V60 Cross Country, with 225 units sold. Volvo Cars is midway through a global transformation that involves the complete renewal of Volvo's product range beginning with the all-new XC90 luxury SUV, world-first safety technologies, a new design language, new powertrain architecture and a range of class-leading connectivity services.
