1953 Alfa Romeo 6C 2500S Bucci Special Model Years

The Alfa Romeo 2500S, known as the Bucci Special, wears a two-seater sports body created by Nestor Salerno in Argentina and originally fitted to Clemar Bucci's 1937 Alfa Romeo 12C. At least four examples of the 12C are believed to have been built, with one being raced by Achille Varsi in 1948 at Mar Del Plato. Clemar Bucci raced it in 1953 at the Argentine Grand Prix, where it was sidelined prematurely due to an engine failure. In 1956, it wore two-seater sports coachwork and a 2500S engine when it was added to John de Boer's Italian Car Register, described as a Sader body built by Nestor Salerno for Clemar Bucci.
