The 1965 Oldsmobile Starfire was the final year that the Starfire would carry the company's personal luxury persona all by itself. It was joined by the Toronado.The Oldsmobile Starfire models were well equipped and given power steering, power brakes, a Turbo Hydra-Matic transmission, courtesy lamps, bucket seats, console, tachometer, padded dash, parking brake light, Deluxe steering wheel, special wheel covers, electric wipers, power windows and seats, special wheel covers, Deluxe steering wheel, padded dash, and parking brake light. The 2-door coupe had a factory price of $4,150 while the convertible listed for $4,775. Oldsmobile produced 13,024 examples of the coupe and $2,236 of the convertible.
